1. Spring Loaded Seals:

• Inspection of old parts for any major deformity.
• Cleaning of parts with ultrasonic machine to remove deposits.
• Parts are checked with magnifying glass or even microscope for crack.
• Grinding of hard faces & Polishing of metal parts.
• Grub screws are replaced with new.
• Changing of pin if deformed.
• Springs are replaced.
• Soft parts are replaced with new parts.
• Lapping and polishing upto 1 –2 Micron Light band.
• Checked under helium-monochromatic light for required flatness.

• Metal Bellow parts are handled with special care during refurbishment.
• Parts are cleaned with specific liquid to remove hydrocarbon or deposits at elevated temperature in ultra sonic machine.
• Seals are checked for puncture by applying hydrostatic pressure with the help of jigs and fixtures. Load testing of moulded metal bellows.
• Helium detector used to diagnose invisible leakage.
• Grinding and polishing of hard faces to required finish.
• Changing of flexible parts, gaskets, grub screws, pins, lugs etc.
